Hey, fur parents! Bringing a new kitten home? Make sure the introductions go smoothly with these top tips.

1️⃣ Isolate the New Kitten
Firstly, keep your new kitten in a separate room for a few days. This gives them time to acclimatise and reduces stress for everyone.

2️⃣ Exchange Scents
Before face-to-face introductions, swap bedding between the rooms. This will help each kitten get used to the other's scent.

3️⃣ Controlled Meetings
After a few days, allow the kittens to meet while supervised. Keep the initial meetings short to prevent overwhelming them.

4️⃣ Observe Body Language
Look out for signs of stress or discomfort, such as hissing or puffing up. If you see these signs, it may be best to separate them and try again later.

5️⃣ Use Toys and Treats
Distract the kittens with toys and treats to make the experience positive. Reward good behaviour with treats to reinforce the friendship.

6️⃣ Slow and Steady
Don’t rush the process. Take it slow and allow the kittens to adjust at their own pace.
